121 Boltherm

thermal insulation boltherm 121
Presentation

Composition
Thermal insulation composed of aluminium and double bubble, not protected.

Advantages
High power reflective and great diversity in the application.

Disadvantages
Must not be in direct contact with or fresh mortars.

Main Applications
Suitable use in Coverings and floors:

Main Benefits
The reflective aluminum capacity in conjunction with the large amount of air trapped inside their cells makes it an effective insulation.

The appropriate treatment of the covers is one of the most important steps to ensure the thermal efficiency of buildings. The process of boltherm insulation goes against heat transfer: – for radiation, which is an essential component of energy transferred through the covers (particularly in summer, when you can get up to 93%); – by conduction and convection, due to the air bubble in the material and the process of assembling, with dual air box (2 cm deep, at least).

About/Plate Slab

Any insulation placed in low tile must always obey the installation instructions so as not to compromise the effectiveness of your application.

1. fixing of retractor upwards

2. Boltherm placement in longitudinal direction

3. coverage Treated

Floors

Treatment of terraces after waterproofing

A simple solution: easy maintenance, waterproofing. The terraces, more than any other area, are very exposed to solar radiation. Boltherm proposes the treatment of these areas by combining a geotextile and a reflective insulation which is applied a lajetas floating floor. This solution is simple to use, allows easy access for maintenance operations, and gives an additional guarantee of waterproofing.

Inverted coverage with Floating Lajetas

1. Constitute placing of geotextile (+/-150 g/m2) on waterproofing layer.

2. Boltherm application (sealed joints with aluminum tape)

3. The placement of the brackets/support:
-Fixed, adjustable for height, sticking self-levelling compounds.
-The use of the base holders protection will prevent any damage occur in Boltherm isolation.

4. Placement of lajetas chosen on the brackets.

-Maintaining the continuity of insulation
-Ensuring the existence of air boxes, in this case with wooden spreaders
